Bonfire Night is fun for us but not for our pets

Fireworks and Bonfire night are fun for us but not so for our pets!

Things can get quite exciting on Bonfire Night, not least for our pets who can get really disturbed by all the flashes in the sky & the loud bangs as the fireworks explode. It’s best to keep them indoors when all the festivities are taking place. It helps to take dogs for longer walks in the day so they are less restless at night and we find Nutracalm is very good to help passify them if they get upset.

Bishops Castle Vets are a well respected, trusted, independent rural practice located in Bishops Castle, South Shropshire providing extensive veterinary services for all livestock, farmyard animals and of course, your family Pets.
